Director of Sales and Marketing

At Creatuity, we're looking for a Director of Sales & Marketing to help us continue to break growth records year after year. We're one of the fastest growing professional services firms in the United States providing ecommerce consulting & development on the Magento platform. In short - we help mid-sized companies build and grow their ecommerce sales.  

Throughout our nine year history, our founders have managed all sales & marketing activities. You would be sales hire #1, giving you the ability to develop our sales processes, goals and team around your experience and vision to help us continue to grow.  

Job responsibilities:

  • Create & implement sales and marketing strategy for Creatuity (professional services sales). This includes research, setting targets/metrics, setting budget, tracking progress, and adjusting strategy as needed.
  • Build & directly oversee a team of marketing & sales employees, including hiring, training, day-to-day supervision, performance reviews, etc.
  • Creating training materials for new sales and marketing team members
  • Set and monitor sales quotas/goals
  • Monitor and report on KPIs to ensure that targets are being met, and that management can accurately forecast demand.
  • Handle sales activities for key accounts (emails, phone calls, demos) 
  • Review proposals and approve pricing
  • Coordinate with appropriate team members regarding inside sales opportunities
  • Ensure exceptional customer service to all prospects & clients, including directly handling escalated concerns
  • Work directly with Magento sales and partnership team to develop relationship and generate leads. Includes updating them on Enterprise sales activity and tracking commissions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key people in the Magento and Dallas business communities
  • Maintain existing partnerships and create new mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Attend conferences, webinars and relevant events
  • Ensure that MA and CRM systems are optimized, and implement new system(s) as needed
  • Monitor competitive landscape frequently
  • Quickly update strategy based on capacity
  • Regularly report directly to EVP & CEO

Experience/Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in a related field
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Some customer service experience preferred
  • Deep knowledge of eCommerce, technology, and professional services
  • Business Administration, Marketing, or related Bachelor's degree or higher
